According to the WHO, cancer mortality in the DRC accounts for about 75% of diagnosed cases and this number will continue to increase if adequate measures are not implemented.

In order to offer the population a center enabling them to take charge of cancer treatment, the cancer center will meet the needs in terms of:

- Screening and diagnosis
- Treatment by chemotherapy, radiotherapy and medical follow-up of patients;
- Palliative care

The center is located in the heart of the city of Kinshasa* and will have as a capacity of 100 beds and a large meeting room and training of the medical profession.
